arthur cavaliere

Philadelphia-born chef Arthur Cavaliere has been a part of the always-evolving Philadelphia restaurant scene for over 20 years.

Chef Cavaliere began his career during high school, as a line cook in Manayunk, just a few blocks from where he works today. After graduating from college, he had the opportunity to run some of the most successful kitchens in Philadelphia and Washington DC, including Iron Chef Jose Garces’ Amada, Stephen Starr’s El Vez and Parc, and Michel Richard’s Central Michel Richard. His impressive resume and passion for food are the perfect ingredients for a successful culinary establishment.

In Riva is Chef Cavaliere’s first venture, who has combined the similarities of his two favorite cities - Naples and Philadelphia - to deliver an unparalleled culinary experience. Sticking with the Italian translation of its name, In Riva is located “along the banks” of the Schuylkill River in East Falls.
